Eng. AI-Faraj was born in 1978 in RasTanura, Saudi Arabia. He achieved his BS degree in Electrical Engineering, as a Power Systems Engineer, from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in 2002. He worked as a project engineer for a couple of years. Currently, he is working at Saudi Aramco. It is worth mentioning that Eng. Al-Faraj was deeply involved in engineering research during his study at KFUPM and he is a coauthor of several international research papers (all in transmission planning). In addition to that, he is a recipient of different innovation and excellence awards.
