This session focuses on artificial intelligence ( AI ) applications in power systems research and development. AI is used extensively in power systems to tackle problems like as scheduling, calculating, statistics, and forecasting.
The Artificial Intelligence Approaches in Power Systems focuses on the many issues that arise in power systems and how AI techniques help to address these challenges. It explores the critical aspects of power system analysis and the application of AI-driven analytical tools. This seminar helps researchers and industry engineers understand how AI may be utilized in different aspects of power systems. Several AI approaches and their applications are described.
AI applications are also being employed in power systems as new and powerful tools to replace existing ways for feature modeling, performance control, and problem diagnostics in order to get superior outcomes. AI applications in power systems include (1) data-driven anomalies analysis of power plants, (2) machine fault detection and prediction, and (3) power equipment health monitoring based on vibration, sound, picture, and thermal infrared signals. (4) solar power generating system control and performance monitoring, (5) microgrid system modeling, scheduling, control, and monitoring, fault detection, isolation, and localization, and (6) state estimation and performance assessment of large-scale energy systems.
