Anas Abdulkhader is a Senior Electrical Engineer with 9+ years of experience in testing and analysis of power system primary assets. He is presently associated with OMICRON electronics MEA as a Regional Application Specialist and Regional Technical Support Coordinator. He also contributes to developing digital transformation software for automatic testing and data analysis. Previously worked in HYOSUNG as a field service engineer and supervised installing and commissioning of GIS and Transformers. He holds a BTech degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from TIST at Cochin University in 2013. He is a member of GCC CIGRE and presented several technical papers at international conferences.
Regional application specialist-Partial Discharge OMICRON Electronics MEA
Rustan Villanueva is a highly experienced professional with 15 years of expertise in the field of high voltage testing and commissioning all over GCC countries. He is currently works as a Regional Application Specialist for Partial Discharge application at Omicron Electronics since 2020 and responsible for delivering device demonstration, trainings and technical support for PD measurement and monitoring.
Prior to joining Omicron Electronics, Rustan was the team leader for the Partial Discharge team on CEPCO for 13 years. During his tenure, he demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and technical expertise, which led to the success of several high-profile projects. Rustan also served as a senior Testing and Commissioning engineer for high voltage cables and GIS, where he played a critical role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of high voltage equipment.
He has a deep understanding of the industry's best practices and is committed to staying up-to-date with the latest technological advancements.
He holds BSc. Degree in Electrical Engineering from Saint Louis University in Baguio City, Philippines in 2006 and currently resides in Bahrain.
Regional Application Specialist-Protection OMICRON Electronics MEA
During his career, he has spent around 12 years in the GCC, with over 20 years of experience.
He has worked for OMICRON since July 2015 and provides technical and application support for primary and secondary testing and diagnostic substation equipment.
Besides conducting theoretical and practical training courses, he also provides technical support to customers. In addition, he develops application notes and technical papers for a variety of applications.
He is a very experienced engineer in the industry. He has already worked for various companies in Egypt, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and now in Bahrain for OMICRON. He finished his BSC degree in Electrical Engineering in 2002 and completed his postgraduate studies (Diploma in Electrical Power Engineering) in 2007.
Regional Application Specialist-PUC OMICRON Electronics MEA
Arulraj Irudayasamy studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Saveetha Engineering College in Chennai-India in 2014 and has more than 8 years of experience in Substation Automation.
He started at GK Power as Relay Service Engineer for MiCOM Numerical Protection and Control IEDs. He also worked as a Substation Automation System (SAS) Engineer for many projects for ALSTOM and Schneider Electric in India until 2018.
Afterwards, he moved to ABB (Hitachi Energy) Global R&D team as a Verification and Validation Engineer for Bay Level Products from 2018 until 2020.
Currently Eng. Arul holds the position Application Engineer for PUC in OMICRON Middle East and Africa Region. He is responsible for IEC 61850 application testing and cybersecurity solutions in the region.

Abdulla Hakeem is the Area Sales Manager for Kuwait, Oman, Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and some other countries. Abdulla graduated from Napeir University in Edinburgh Scotland with an Electrical and Electronics Engineering degree with more than 15 years of experience in different fields.
